Chicken Broth

I enjoy cooking from scratch as many people do, and to that end letting a good chicken carcass go to waste is absolutely out of the question. Schlafly Bottleworks

Snapped a photo of the Schlafly Bottleworks brewery and restaurant in St. Louis, MO before poppin inside for dinner. Had a Dark IPA and an Oatmeal Stout with my meal of sausage and sauerkraut. All was very delicious and well worth the visit. Of course, I had family with me as well, so that made it nice as well. Out with dad and his wife, and my sister, brother-in-law, and two of my younger nephews. The meal was reasonably priced. My only complaint was that the service was a bit slow and unattentive, but you can't win them all I suppose. I will definitely be back to their restaurant in future.

Beer Can Chicken Stands Ready

I shot this photo of a beer can chicken just before I put her on the grill and thought I would share it here. You never know when you may need a photo of a seasoned, propped up beer can chicken to make a blog post or some other post go well. By the way, the chicken turned out to be moist, juicy, and delicious. I have never been dissatisfied with the flavor and tenderness of a beer can chicken.
