Where's My Nose?

I snapped this picture while my wife and I were shopping at a local Old Time Pottery store last year during the Christmas season. I thought it was funny that the poor guy bottom right was missing his nose. Reminded me of a cartoon I saw that depicted a snowman standing with his stick hands in the air, and a rabbit pointing a hair dryer at him. "Nice and easy. Gimme your nose and don't do anything stupid."

Graffiti

The best things in life are free. Of course, that is not to say that any of these images are worth a damn. But someone may find a use for them.

Rules for modifying images here? You know, the whole idea of this site is to simply provide a sampling of pictures. If you want to modify any of them through cropping or other ways, feel free to do that too. I am not a professional photographer, and the point of this site is not to make money from any photos, but simply to snap shots of what I find interesting and share them with you either for the enjoyment of looking at them, or the enjoyment of using them without having to worry about copyrighted content and getting flagged for using something you find on the Internet.

Barren Road

In my travels looking for rock quarries to sell parts to in my job, there were often stone country roads leading up to them, and sometimes the travels got to be pretty, rocky, dare I say. How many times did I find myself in the boonies looking for these places? Quite often. And here was one of those roads leading to one.

The fun of a site like this is simply the sharing part. Why should you have to pay for images? At least, that has always been my thought. Enjoy them. Share them. Beer Tap Heaven

It has been a while since I have updated Springboard Images. But it does not mean I have considered the site dead, nor does it mean I have stopped clicking pics whenever I see an opportunity to do so. So here it the latest installment, of which there will be more to come. This one was actually taken, if memory serves me right, at the Yard House in Kansas City. God love a bar with so many taps. This is a beer drinker's heaven right there, let me tell you.

A Damp Place

This photo was taken in the basement of a church I conducted pest control services for. In fact, I noted that several of the churches I did services for in the city I worked in had similar areas beneath the church. One of those places that pest control providers get to go to find the vermin and bugs.

How often do you think, the cat is the center of attention in your house? The cat, of course, rules the roost and it is her way or the highway almost 100% of the time. This picture is of the wifey and I's cat, Sneakers. Also known as Sneaky Bop, The Bopster, or just plain Sneaky. She answers, by the way, to all of these.

Filthy Metal Sink

In setting this site up, what I want to do is to include a versatile bunch of photos. To that end I took this photo of a dirty sink. This, as many pictures may have, could have a multitude of uses in blogs and articles, pertaining to home maintenance, cleaning, sink repair, sink maintenance, plumbing, cleaning products and cleaning solutions, or any other purpose as you see fit.

Brothers

There is always that saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. My sister captured this image of her sons playing in a rain puddle along the street they live on, and as soon as I saw it I thought, this is a fantastic photo. This photo could have multiple uses. Like a picture is worth a thousand words, this picture could have a thousand stories, poems, or vignettes.

Two Horses Feeding

Photo of two horses eating out of a trough taken while vacationing, I believe it was in Mercer, WI. The actual town was a town or two over and suddenly I cannot remember the actual location. Not that it matters. This free image can surely be used in a variety of articles about horses, horse feeding, animal care, equine care, or whatever application where you feel this image would be useful to enhance your Internet content.
