In honor of Veteran's Day, I decided to post an image I took back when I was stationed aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), on which I served between 1992 and 1996. This photo was taken while she sat in the shipyards, in this one finally out of dry dock, at Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company in Newport News, Virginia. She was not fully sea worthy at the time this picture was taken, but she was well on her way.
